Louis Erard Le Régulateur x GoS

The LE X GoS Regulateur is a remarkable timepiece born from the collaboration between Swiss and Swedish crafts. It combines the technical precision and aesthetic refinement of the Swiss Jura with the artistry of a Swedish forge. The watch features a Damascus steel dial, it is a unique pattern on each of its 178 limited pieces. Each dial undergoes a proprietary treatment to intensify its contrasts, with patterns inspired by the intricate veins of trees in both Swedish and Swiss forests.

It also showcases bespoke-designed GoS style blued-hands, a triskelion-inspired small seconds counter (where the triskele is a Viking symbol of infinity and connection), a signature GoS crown, and GoS style rings on the dial and hour counter. The watch comes with a salmon leather strap, a first for Louis Erard, which pays homage to GoS’s Nordic origins, along with an additional grained calf leather strap. As a regulator, it has a 39mm diameter, a 45.9mm lug-to-lug measurement, and a 12.82mm thickness, it is equipped with a domed Sapphire crystal featuring an anti-reflective treatment.

URWERK UR-100V MAGIC T "HUNTER GREEN"

Embrace a new paradigm of elegance with the debut of the UR - 100V 'Hunter Green' edition. Its refined ash-green hue, delicately kissed by a faint metallic sheen, unfolds a narrative of understated luxury.

The UR - 100V takes us on a time-space journey, merging URWERK's core concepts. It features the iconic satellite display, but with a difference. Once the minute pointers on hour satellites vanish, they move between subsidiary dials to show astronomical indications.

Transcends the traditional function of a time telling device. It is equipped with two specialised counters: one that indicates the 555 km distance the Earth traverses within a 20 minutes period during its rotation, and the other, the 35,740 km displacement during its 20 minutes revolution around the Sun.

The 'Hunter Green' edition extends beyond the realm of horological craftsmanship, serving as a witness to Earth's cosmic trajectory and inaugurating a novel chromatic exploration within URWERK's developmental trajectory.

Martin Frei, the artistic director of URWERK, posits that the UR - 100V serves as a medium for boundless exploration. 'Hunter Green' is a vivid chromatic element that engages with both light and time. Felix Baumgartner, the master horologist, further elaborates that the metallic ash-green hue was meticulously crafted, endowing the timepiece with an industrial-organic aesthetic, accentuating the dial's depth while preserving the allure of titanium.

The 'Hunter Green' edition

retains the fundamental essence of the 100v collection, integrating visual simplicity with advanced horological techniques. Martin Frei conceives unique geometric forms, and Felix Baumgartner innovates the satellite - type wandering-hours mechanism. It is inspired by a 17th-century timekeeping device, this mechanism has been elevated to a new echelon by URWERK, delving into the exploration of space-time relationships.

Louis Erard the New Le Régulateur Gravé Bleu

Le Régulateur Gravé Bleu,

a new addition to the Noirmont Métiers d’Art collection.

Welcoming this new emblematic piece joining the collection: Le Régulateur Gravé. A stand out from the noirmont métier D’art line. This creation reinterprets a classic horological archetype, the sector dial, while showcasing traditional engraving techniques. The watch features the signature design of the Régulateur with a vertical display of time indicators.

SHOW ME YOUR DIAL, AND I’LL TELL YOU WHO YOU ARE!

Inspired by the sector dials of the 1930s, Louis Erard brings it into the present, incorporating an age-old watchmaking technique: engraving. On a finely grained dial, engraving creates a subtle play of reliefs through a brilliant galvanic treatment. This technical and aesthetic precision highlights the key elements: time segmentation, optimized readability, concentric circles, and a railway track motif. The design, true to the "Neovintage" spirit, captures the essence of the past while asserting a unique modernity that is distinctly Louis Erard.

Kollokium - Projekt 01 Variant “E”

Kollokium's Projekt 01 is a neubrutalist watch project. With its fourth iteration (Variant “E”), kollokium is making a statement. It has a die-cast steel case and a 3D dial with 468 individually hand-applied cylindrical hour markers in black PVD steel, which come in six different diameters and heights. Each of these cylinders are sandblasted, then filled by hand with the same grey luminescent paint as the dial, glowing with a blue light emission.

This release comes in a combined limited edition of 499 pieces, split into two sub-variants (E1 and E2) with different hand sets (either a fluorescent yellow seconds hand or hour and minute hands). The first release aimed to set the creative vibe for future projects. The Variant “E” dial is a 3D reconstruction of a pixelated image, with 12 hour markers, and features a subtly textured grey base with black PVD steel cylindrical markers filled with grey luminescent paint that glows blue.

Ensuring readability was important, especially with the grey and black tones. The hands were carefully chosen:

Variants "E-1”

  • Black hands with grey luminescent outlines.

  • Fluorescent yellow seconds hand.

Variants “E-2”

  • Grey luminescent hands with fluorescent yellow outlines.

  • Grey seconds hand.

The case is made from 316L stainless steel through die casting, giving it an industrial look with rounded edges and a unique texture. The two-part construction includes a barrel-shaped caseback, cruciform screwdriver-inspired lugs, and a triangular valve-shaped crown. With the fascinating sapphire box crystal is level with the dial and has anti-reflective coating.

The watch measures 40mm at the widest point of the caseback, 38.5mm for the cylindrical part, and 11mm in total height. The short lugs make it sit close to the wrist. The strap, inspired by outdoor gear, is elastic, breathable, and has a hook fastening system. Kollokium uses the Swiss La Joux-Perret G101 automatic movement with a 68-hour power reserve.

Kollokium was founded in 2020 by three friends, Manuel Emch, Barth Nussbaumer and Amr Sindi, who had different paths in the watchmaking industry but shared aesthetic sensibilities. Contributing to the creations of many Swiss and international watch brands, their strong mutual desire to build something couldn't be ignored. Kollokium aims to make timepieces that are mechanical but transcend traditional watchmaking, incorporating elements from architecture, design, contemporary art, and sub-cultures. It represents watchmaking from a new perspective.
