HOLTHINRICHS WATCHES
I want people to experience the emotional sensations that architecture can evoke through its spatial, structural and artisanal complexity: architecture on the wrist. That is why our watches are called after the architectural ornament.
Michiel Holthinrichs, founder of Holthinrichs Watches
Michiel Holthinrichs, a visionary horologist with architect background, birthed Holthinrichs Watches in 2016. A harmonious blend of cutting-edge 3D metal printing and time-honored hand-finishing techniques, the brand crafts timepieces that defy convention. The Ornament 1, a 2016 masterpiece, reimagined the classic dress watch. Its 3D-printed skeletonized case, adorned with an Art Deco dial, exudes elegance in a slim, polished frame.
This year 2024, Holthinrichs Watches embarked on a twofold journey. The first path, simply Holthinrichs Watches, is a bold statement against the mundane. It seeks to forge a legacy of timeless beauty, crafting signature timepieces that resonate with the soul.
The second path, a daring exploration into the realm of haute horlogerie, is a testament to unbridled creativity. Holthinrichs Haute Horlogerie aims to sculpt wearable art, each piece a masterpiece born from an independent ecosystem of in-house movements and exquisite hand-finishing. The Lavish Attic is honored to collaborate with Holthinrichs Watches on the debut of the Ornament Nouveau, unveiled at Phillips Hong Kong Watches XIX. And the result is promising!
Holthinrichs Watches is based in the historical center of Delft, The Netherlands.
