Louis Erard delivers his regulator as a sacrifice to a very strange creature: a grotesque saw-mouthed cyclops. A mythological figure reinterpreted by the master watchmaker Konstantin Chaykin.

Everything was ready for the meeting with Konstantin Chaykin. Respecting the architecture of Louis Erard’s signature regulator, with central minute, hour at noon and second at six o’clock. All that was left for Konstantin Chaykin to do was to build the face with one eye. He made it the Likho’s eye as a kind of protective amulet against evil spirits.

The creature is completed with a black toad strap and comes in two versions. A purple hour circle for the 39 mm piece and a green one for the 42 mm, limited to 178 pieces each.

What can be better than having the brand representative to present the brand spirit in front of us? Based in Switzerland, Louis Erard always reaches out to potential artists for interesting collaborations, at a good price.

Le Régulateur Louis Erard x atelier oï. Louis Erard turns to architecture and design with atelier oï, a regional company that has been shining internationally for 30 years. atelier oï proceeded in a basic way: “To radiate from the centre outwards.” These lines create a space, to which the hands add the dimension of time.

Mr. Manuel Emch is responsible for the new strategy and brand identity. He notably created the concept of collaborations with Alain Silberstein and Vianney Halter.

A number of collections has entered the official nomination of Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) over the last few years, including Le Régulateur Louis Erard x Vianney Halter, Le Chrono Monopoussoir Louis Erard x Alain Silberstein, La Semaine Louis Erard x Alain Silberstein and the others.

Excellence Marqueterie. The dial incorporates more than 70 elements. The watch would not exist without a certain timely meeting between Manuel Emch, director of Louis Erard, and Bastien Chevalier, specialist in miniature marquetry in Sainte-Croix. With such a pattern, marquetry becomes madness.

Le Régulateur Louis Erard x Massena LAB – Limited edition of 178 pieces. The large central minute hand points towards the outer rhodium-plated flange with circular satin finish. The lower plate is rhodium- or gold-plated, with a grained finish to further increase the contrast with the counters and enhance the readability of the blued steel leaf hands.

Le Régulateur Louis Erard x Massena LAB, comes in two variations. The only defining element between the two is the dial: on one, the lower plate is plated in 2N gold, while the other is rhodium-plated. The meeting place is the regulator: a mechanical complication linked to the history of chronometry and to Louis Erard’s history.
