Complex Mechanism Behind Prototype 00 - Unique Piece

1. The Art of Remontoir

Jens Schneider, the master watchmaker, engineer and philosopher of Lang & Heyne, beyond that Jens is an Artist.

A passionate and talented gentleman has been in the watchmaking industry for over 30 years. Combining technology, mechanics, movement and design while working in Glashütte, A. Lange & Söhne and Moritz Grossmann further to another milestone in LANG & HEYNE.

He especially drew his Remontoir for the project to give tremendous breakthroughs for any collector to the owner. It is memorable and fascinating.

2. Black Enamel Dial & SLN Lancet Hands

It is created by the two-part enamel dial which is definitely the new state-of-the-art technology by giving LH the possibility to cut a massive block of enamel in slices. The idea is to fix two of these discs on a metal support, thus obtaining an enamel dial with a lower small second. Since the highly polished discs can't be burned again, they are printed with high-quality varnish and the indexes are hand-linked with superluminova.

3. New Calibre VI in titanium

Lang & Heyne integrated a Remontoir mechanism in its entirely in-house Calibre VI movement by using Titanium as the base material.
It is almost unheard of until now because of its material nature which makes it extremely challenging to work with.
But the L&H masters found their way into an unusual use. It is a milestone in independent watchmaking.

4. Coveted Mailanaise bracelet

The bracelet is made of Mailanaise warp knitted fabric which is manufactured in solid stainless steel links designed to fit snugly. The butterfly clasp is made by narrow links that are screwed and considerably for the owner to adjust the strap length easily.
