The CITIZEN & CAMPANOLA have arrived in Lavish Loft HK

The CITIZEN

Since ancient times, eagles and humans have lived and worked together. Raised by a single master, eagles are loyal. And with their superior vision and clarity, they are always chasing their next prey into the far beyond.

The CITIZEN is like an eagle.

The eagle mark: a symbol of a twin commitment: “Always looking ahead and pursuing the ideal” and “Becoming an integral part of users’ lives.” The eagle mark is discreetly stamped on the dial, the crown and other parts of the watch.

CAMPANOLA

The brand CAMPANOLA under CITIZEN had launched since 2000. Standing at the apex of watchmaking precision and beauty, CAMPANOLA offers a truly unique way to celebrate each precious moment in life. Master Tetsuo Gido, famous for its fine lacquerware, has been creating unique works of art on the faces of CAMPANOLA watches since 2002. As a master craftsman and artistic innovator, he works tirelessly to preserve and pass on the traditions and techniques of Japanese lacquerware production.

The timeless beauty of lacquer, Japanese craftsmanship at its finest.

Lacquer, which is also known as “Japan” in English, is the epitome of world-class Japanese artistry. It takes 20 years before lacquer sap can be collected, and each lacquer tree produces only a small amount of sap only once. Lacquer artisans undergo painstaking efforts to create sublime art without wasting a drop. As we can witness from ornaments that survive from the prehistoric Jomon period, lacquerware retains its beauty and endures over time.

Ayamekin NZ0001-04E 20th anniversary limited edition

The Ayamekin is an artistic creation based on the tiger-spot motif, which the samurai leaders of Japan’s warring states period loved for its strength and dignity. The tiger-spot pattern was made by arranging tiny seeds on the surface of the lacquer, sprinkling them with gold, painting on layer after layer of lacquer, and carefully polishing it. The black lacquer and the gold create a sense of brilliant elegance. The watch’s interior houses a mechanical movement from La Joux-Perret SA. Embodying the Japanese sense of beauty with the utmost skill, it lures you into the highest quality time.

Kasanekyo NZ0000-07L 20th anniversary limited edition

The light created by the glistening mother-of-pearl forms an iridescent halo. Meticulous artistry has gone into creating the Kasanekyo, which is named after this beautiful visual effect. The lacquer base has been covered by hand with slivers of nacre so that the mother-of-pearl work on the carefully polished dial and bezel is unique to each watch. The watch’s interior houses a mechanical movement from La Joux-Perret SA. Of all watches worldwide, this is the one for you. Your life will shine as the passing of time pulls on your heart strings.
