2024 April - SINGER REIMAGINED Singer Divetrack

Singer Reimagined is thrilled to introduce the Divetrack, a pioneering timepiece that marries the brand’s iconic design ethos with an unprecedented 24-hour central chronograph function, marking a new era in the world of diving watches.

“The Singer Divetrack represents a bold leap forward in our quest to reimagine what a diving watch can be.” says Marco Borraccino, the visionary behind Singer. “It’s not just about adding a new feature; it’s about enhancing the dive experience with unparalleled precision, functionality, and style.”

The Divetrack stands out with its Singer Central Automatic 24-h Chronograph, designed specifically to monitor the entirety of your diving session. The central sweeping seconds hand ensures continuous movement, while the prominent orange minute hand meticulously tracks your underwater adventure.

The Divetrack is not just for underwater use. On the surface, especially during diving trips or extended stays at a diving site, the watch helps you manage your ‘surface intervals’. These intervals are crucial for allowing nitrogen absorbed during dives to dissipate safely from your body. With the chronograph still running, you can accurately gauge the length of your surface intervals and plan your subsequent dives accordingly.

The Central Sub-Counter is an exceptional multi- functional tool featuring 3 zones:

  • CHILL (0h-6h): This zone helps you determine the surface interval before your next dive based on factors like previous dive duration, depth, and frequency.

  • DIVE (6h-18h): Indicates when you are clear to dive again after fulfilling the required surface interval.

  • FLY (18h-24h): Post-dive, this zone highlights the safe window before flying to avoid health risks such as pulmonary embolism. As per PADI guidelines, you must wait at least 18 hours after your last dive before flying.

Ensuring operational safety, the watch boasts double O-ring push-buttons and a screw-down winding crown, all waterproof to 300 meters (1,000 feet). The ‘Start/Stop’ pusher at 2 o’clock is safeguarded against unintentional activation by a red-guard ceramic-coated protector. The ‘Reset’ pusher at 10 o’clock is cleverly designed to prevent accidental usage, only functioning when the chronograph is stopped. Positioned within the watch-case profile, these pushers are shielded from external impact.

The helium escape valve ensures the watch’s functionality in case of saturation dive by allowing trapped helium to escape during decompression, protecting the watch from potential damage.

Even in the midst of adventure, keeping track of the day’s time is effortless. Under the rotating bezel, a discrete Singer signature ceramic disk, illuminated with luminescent figures and indexes, subtly reveals the time. This 12-hour disk provides an unobtrusive yet clear indication of time as it progresses.

2024 January - URWERK UR100V LightSpeed

The UR-100V LightSpeed houses a 3D planetarium featuring eight celestial bodies from our solar system, eight points of reference. "Starting from the Sun, we calculated and illustrated the time taken for a ray of light to reach each of the planets.  The Sun’s rays take 8.3 minutes to reach the Earth, while the same ray reaches the surface of Jupiter 35 minutes later. A journey through space and time with light as the medium, the most magical of all vessels” he explains. "This is the story we were all told as children”, adds URWERK’s master watchmaker and co-founder Felix Baumgartner. “It is the one that explains our place on Earth, the immensity of the universe and our out-of-step relationship with the present moment: by the time the light of a star reaches us, that star has probably long since ceased to shine. What we see is no longer there; we perceive a time, a past that no longer exists.”

“Light serves as our connection to the Universe, representing the smallest unit of energy capable of being transmitted. Its electromagnetic radiations are precisely in the range that our eyes are attuned to detect. This ability to visualise and interpret this information reconstructs our perception of the world. Whether gazing at distant stars or peering though a microscope, light conveys essential details shaping our understanding of reality, continually expanding our knowledge and comprehension of the vast and intricate universe around us.” concludes Martin Frei.

2024 January - Le Régulateur Louis Erard x Olivier Mosset

Louis Erard breaks new ground, bringing its fine watchmaking to the world of contemporary art. A new collaboration with a historic and rebellious figure in abstract art, Swiss artist Olivier Mosset. A black-on- black model with sparkling inlays. Limited edition of 178.

This watch is an abstraction. A minimalist geometric reinterpretation of the regulator, whose three hands - minute in the center, hour at the top, seconds at the bottom - are mechanically separated. Normally, this improves precision and legibility. In this case, though, it is rather a work of art.

Erected as a work of art, each of the 178 timepieces comes with a red seal bearing the words "work of art - do not wear". Two interchangeable bracelets complete the case, one signed by the artist. Shaking up the codes of watchmaking is the direction taken by Louis Erard through its artistic collaborations, which delight collectors and contemporary art lovers the world over.

2023 August - Singer Reimagined Flytrack Cocktail Edition

Prepare your favorite cocktails the way you like it. Depending how you prefer your favorite cocktail, you can now have it strong... balanced... floral... or fruity. Just start your cocktail timer. Triggering the pusher at 2 o’clock activates the seconds hand to measure short durations – here, the time it takes for ice to melt in a cocktail – as many times as is necessary, without interfering in the slightest with the watch’s accuracy. Pressing and holding the pusher halts the seconds hand, which can then be swiftly released at the appropriate time.

A rotating peripheral hour disc in black ceramic bearing the individual number of each watch accompanied by an hour-marker at 6 o’clock in the finest Singer Reimagined tradition, both in luminous orange. Minutes and seconds are indicated by the two central hands.

Only 12 numbered timepieces have been released. Each of the 12 watches is personalized with an orange figure from 1 to 12.

Developed in collaboration with Agenhor,Singer Flytrack movement, AG6364, has noble descendants, sharing its architecture with the prestigious, award winning, Agengraphe. The clutch, provided with triangular teeth, features a ratio of one tooth to three, to limit jumping forward or backward, allowing to reduce errors in case of shock. In the worstcase, the seconds hand can jump of maximum 1 degree. A large lever permanently keeps the system engaged, allowing the seconds hand swiping motion. When the user presses the reset button, the lever releases the clutch which disengages. The lever also acts as a reset hammer by pressing on a heart-cam in the center. When the user releases the button, the lever returns to its initial position and re-engages the system to restart the seconds hand motion instantly.

2023 August - TRILOBE Nuit Fantastique Brume

Trilobe unveils Nuit Fantastique, Guilloche Edition : a timepiece that subtly blends heritage and innovation. This creation, a fine line between rupture and continuity, combines a contemporary design with traditional watchmaking know-how. At the heart of this new creation, and for the first time on a Maison Trilobe model, is a guilloché technique known as “Barley Grain“, which is the aesthetic focus of the piece. The design of this ancient motif has been reworked exclusively for this new edition, in alignment with Maison Trilobe eccentric displays.

“On Nuit Fantastique Brume”, the fixed part of the dial and the hour ring feature an ambiguous shade between gray and brown that oscillates with light. Just like ”mist”, the English translation of the name of this model, the classic hue evokes infinite timelessness. Subtlety shines through the pigment, adding to the refinement of our Maison’s latest creation.

Drawing inspiration from the minimalist design of the Nuit Fantastique collection, the elegant guilloche and grained dial is a major technical achievement that emphasizes the watch’s elegance. It defies the laws of symmetry; made up of four parts, three of them permanently rotate: the largest wheel for the hours; the minutes wheel that appears within an aperture and the seconds wheel, which alternates between a “Clous de Paris” centre and an azured ring.

Nuit Fantastique Brume is equipped with the X-Centric calibre, an automatic movement designed and developed exclusively by Trilobe. For the first time, it bears the words “Paris - France“, a symbol of the development of our Maison, which recently inaugurated its own watchmaking workshop in Paris. In this workshop, our expert watchmakers carry out the final stages of manufacturing Trilobe timepieces. Each piece is entirely assembled and cased-up by a watchmaker, who works with rigor and precision to guarantee an impeccable finish, in line with the Maison’s high standards.

2023 August - KONSTANTIN CHAYKIN Kolobok

Kolobok is the title character in the Russian fairy tale of the same name. Owing to talented illustrators over the ages Kolobok remains one of the most positive characters in Russian fairy tales. He is simultaneously cheerful, wily, and even a bit audacious, in other words, an ideal candidate for the Wristmons collection alongside Minions, the Joker, and Harley Quinn.

"There came a moment when I realized that Kolobok was the ideal starting point for a series of Russian Wristmons," recalls the master. "I was so inspired by this image that I drew 3-4 versions of sketches in a couple of days. The hero turned out to be so captivating and positive that I could no longer put this idea aside and returned to it, finalizing the design again and again."

Chaykin made the dial somewhat convex, rounded in order to give it the feel of plump dough. Yet the master had to tinker around with the background color, because Chaykin wanted the dial to look like the ruddy crust of warm, freshly baked bread. To achieve this effect, the watchmaker wanted to attain the perfect gradient. The dial is lighter in the center and darker closer to the edges.

His white-toothed "mouth" isn't only the familiar moonphase indicator (depicted by an open-worked yellow circle), but simultaneously the day of the week indicator. Their role is played by the iconic heroes of the fairy tale, that is, the Grandpa, Grandma, the rabbit, wolf, bear, fox, and even the Kolobok himself. The owner of the watch decides which of the characters will designate the first day of the week.

The watch is issued in a limited edition of 99 pieces.

2023 August - URWERK UR100V-Stardust

This UR-100V will tell you tales of stars and distant constellations, nascent beauty and flamboyance, flashes of lightning and transparent reflections. "The entire universe is composed of stellar particles, making their presence inevitable in all the forms of matter that surround us. Whether in their raw or transformed state, from carbon to cut diamonds, from iron mineral to steel alloy, this stardust is omnipresent. It's crazy to think that we, as human beings, are also made of this celestial substance. So, the nickname Stardust, logically associated with the setting of this UR-100V, also extends to the watch itself and to its future owner”, says URWERK’s Artistic Director and co-founder, Martin Frei.

This UR-100V is set with 400 diamonds (VVS1, Color D) totalling almost 1.90 carats of pure carbon. The technique chosen here is that of snow-setting: "We wanted a setting reminiscent of the starry heavens, with nothing at all uniform, more like ordered chaos. It wasn't so much the size of the stones that was important to us as their arrangement, this almost random design”, says Felix Baumgartner, master watchmaker and co-founder of URWERK.

Four hundred diamonds meticulously selected from eight different formats adorn the case of the UR-100V Stardust. Only the edges of the watch have been left bare. Run your finger over this mosaic of diamonds and you’ll find the structure is soft to the touch, smooth and fluid. Making this setting was however quite a challenge, because of the nature of the steel used here. Harder and less malleable than gold, steel required more complex and meticulous jewellery craftsmanship. Beneath the UR-100V Stardust's crystal globe, the minutes scale – located on the upper part of the railway-type track – is studded with 36 diamonds, while another 24 adorn the watch crown. The steel pin buckle is enhanced by two rows comprising 11 diamonds each.

2023 August - RESSENCE TYPE 3 EE

Ressence’s oil-filled TYPE 3 welcomes a striking Eucalyptus Green design within its core range. Forward-thinking, highly legible, and now refreshingly colourful, the TYPE 3 EE appeals at first glance.

The TYPE 3 EE adds a statement colour to a statement watch. With its cool undertones, this soft green hue gives the award-winning TYPE 3 an unconventional feel, evocative of lush forests and outdoor living.

“It wouldn’t be Ressence’s year of colour without introducing a new shade to the TYPE 3 core range" says Benoît Mintiens, Founder of Ressence. “This new Eucalyptus Green TYPE 3 is truly reminiscent of a precious mineral. Holding and wearing a Ressence has never been more akin to experiencing the serene feel of a polished stone's smooth surface.”

Beyond the new colour, the TYPE 3 EE introduces new details. The hour disc has been graphically simplified with indexes every two hours. Weekend days and oil temperature indications present new pastel tones.

2023 June - SCHWARZ ETIENNE Geometry

Schwarz Etienne is pleased to unveil its latest model, the GEOMETRY. Masterminded by acclaimed designer, Eric Giroud, the dial is divided into quadrants and encompasses an array of finishes.

Divided into quadrants, the dial is adorned with an array of finishes, including fluted lines, azuré, clous de Paris and fine sandblasted sections. Like a metaphor for life itself, the dial artistically depicts arcs and ridges shifting from one course to another, a scenario that can prove surprising and thrilling. This ‘deconstructed’ dial motif, comprised of various geometric forms, was masterminded by the acclaimed designer, Éric Giroud.

The calibre ASE 200.02 is equipped with a micro-rotor, providing the convenience of automatic winding. Furthermore, the specification delivers unimpeded views of the beautifully finished bridges. The main plate is presented in grey brass with a fine sandblasted finish, while the ratchet wheel is embellished with diamond drops and snailing. The bridges, again featuring a fine sandblasted finish, are dressed in grey PVD and incorporate polished bevels angles and tone-on-tone engraving. Assuming the mainspring is fully tensioned, the GEOMETRY will run autonomously for 86 hours.

The model comes in salmon and silver dial, limited edition of 100 pieces each.

2023 June - URWERK UR120 Space Black

Lost in black space. URWERK proudly presents its new UR-120! This black cosmic creation fuses advanced technology, celestial inspiration, and a touch of science fiction, captivating horological enthusiasts across the galaxies. Let’s dive into the UR-120 Space Black!

Martin Frei explains: “The UR-120 Space Black is all about the power of black in design. The use of black not only exudes elegance but also fundamentally transforms our perception of the object. Black works its magic by subtly distorting our judgments of size, while intensifying the watch's contours to create a truly mesmerizing effect.”

To tell time, the UR-120 features a new revolving satellite complication: analog minutes and a never seen before split open digital hour satellite mounted on planetary gears. This particular hour satellite morphs into the form of a V-shaped open hand. This time indication rotates on its own axis, split open to unveil its secrets smoothly.

Felix Baumgartner, co-founder and master watchmaker of URWERK, expresses his pride in having overcome the extraordinary challenges faced during the development of the UR-120: “On the part alone governing the partition of our satellite time, there are more than 175 components. These intricated parts meticulously crafted with our CNC machines, rock and roll with micron-level exactitude. This 'Vulcan salute' complication we dreamt of and created is synonymous with live long and prosper still it cost us a few hours of our lives and quite some stress, but the result is definitely worthy of our efforts. This achievement is nothing short of spectacular!"

2023 June - SINGER REIMAGINED Singer 1969 Timer

1969 Timer represents the ultimate example of complexity distilled to its purest form. An intricate zero-reset system combined with a flyback device is the hidden technical gem behind this three-hands timepiece. A simple push of the button at 2 o’clock allows for lightning fast elapsed-time measurement using the central second hand of your watch.

The case size of the new Singer 1969 collection is 40mm. A sober and stylishly design to fit every wrist. A development in design based on well-researched ergonomic and functional considerations.

The stainless-steel bracelet is composed of two contrasting elements. The edgy brushed “H” links are designed after racetracks’ curbs shape, providing a contrasted and vibrant effect. In contraposition, the rounded polished center links bring smooth reflections and sparkles of light. This combination ensures exceptional wearability and comfort. The brushed sloping facets are complemented by polished chamfers, visually extending the case profile with polished edges – a brand signature feature.

The movements AGH 6363 is a re-engineered version of the award-winning Agengraphe and the versatile Flytrack, featuring updated displays to enhance functionalities and to fit their new 40mm housing. Movement is engineered and produced to unique Singer specifications by Agenhor. The pusher at 2 o’clock allows to reset and restart timing quickly without needing to go through the traditional sequence of start-stop-reset. This system offers the opportunity to execute instant and sequential measurements, without interfering with watch timekeeping. A proprietary clutch system allows the central seconds hand to be dissociated from the movement, while kept still, and to be reengaged for motion as soon as the push button is released.

40mm diameter, 15.6mm thickness, Caliber 6363. Limited production of 50 pieces in 2023.

2023 June - SINGER REIMAGINED Singer 1969 Chronograph

1969 Chronograph is the quintessential expression of Singer Reimagined high-watchmaking approach, featuring the most recent version of the famous Agengraphe caliber. A new time display, enhanced readability and the award-winning 60 hours chronograph function taking central stage on the dial. All of this condensed to only 40mm.

The idea that started the brand was reimagining one of the most iconic watch movements from that specific 1 era: the Automatic Chronograph. The first three, and very iconic, automatic chronographs were, in fact, released in 1969. Chronomatic, El Primero and Caliber 6139 were publicly launched that very year.

1969 will be remembered as a year rich in incredible events, stories, discoveries, with culture-altering events like Woodstock, the Moon landing, Abbey Road - Beatles’ final album, and the first Concord flight, just to mention a few. A year that became iconic and meaningful for many reasons.

At Singer Reimagined they decided to celebrate that 2 fantastic year by introducing a new product line named 1969. A new watch collection designed as Singer Reimagined could have conceived and released it, in that precise year!

40mm diameter, 15.6mm thickness, Caliber 6365. Limited production of 50 pieces in 2023.

2023 April - URWERK UR100V Magic T

More than just work on colour, the new UR-100V Magic T is about research into nuances, reflections and chromatic subtleties. It features a luminous and intense metallic grey, now delicately nestled on the wrist. From case to bracelet, this UR-100V Magic T is all about titanium and pure magic.

"The look of this 100 collection offers scope for endless interpretations”, explains URWERK's artistic director and co-founder Martin Frei. “We have created a watch that assumes the role of our 'classic'. A versatile timepiece that changes mood and appearance over time. And even though I am one of its creators, I perpetually discover and rediscover it in its different variations, always with the same impatience and the same pleasure", he concludes.

"This UR-100V Magic T fully deserves its nickname evoking the magic of titanium. This material lends itself beautifully to the finest finishes. We have loved and admired raw titanium, and now we have it gleaming in full brilliance, thanks to light, refined shot-blasting. All the beauty of the metal is there. We also worked on the legibility of our timepiece, adding complexity to the dial that is now broken down into several elements to give it more structure. Try to distinguish between the many different levels of this 3D creation and you will discover that everything has been thought through right the way down to the smallest details, pushing the limits of perceptibility”, says Felix Baumgartner, master watchmaker and co-founder of URWERK.

Limited production of 50 pieces per year.

2023 March - RESERVOIR Black Sparrow

Taking inspiration from the simple looking yet complex instruments from the first air fighter’s cockpits, the BLACK SPARROW collection pays tribute to the heroic journey of Eugene Bullard, being the first Afro-American combat pilot enlisted during the WWI in the French aviation army.

Take flight with audacity, a time instrument from the past on the wrist, sand dial with Art Nouveau-inspired luminescent numerals, in a new steel case fixed with screws and bolts, mounted on a leather Barenia Brown.

2023 March - CARL SUCHY & SÖHNE Belvedere

This latest model from Carl Suchy & Söhne was inspired by the world-famous Belvedere Palace, which stands in the heart of Vienna and was once the residence of Prince Eugene of Savoy. The name of this early eight- eenth-century architectural gem means “beautiful view” and refers to a building that was designed to provide a unique, tranquil, and expansive view of its surroundings.

The stringency, however, is tempered by amusing little touches, including the familiar “Suchy twist,” a unique date display window that changes position each day. Then, there is the asymmetrical guilloché dial that transforms the look of the watch every twenty-four hours. The skeletonized hands and indexes light up brightly on the dial thanks to a generous application of SuperLumiNova, ensuring high legibility even in difficult lighting conditions.

The stainless-steel case of the Belvedere is also subtly animated by the interplay of polished and satin-finished surfaces. The exhibition case back of scratch-resistant sapphire crystal reveals a decorated automatic movement with a rotor featuring the micro-engraved facade of Belvedere Palace.

2023 March - RESSENCE TYPE 1° Round

A watch has an obvious functional role to play in our lives. But beyond that, it is emotional. The new TYPE 1° Round perpetuates Ressence’s minimalistic incarnation of time. Featuring revolving discs that display time in a bi-dimensional format with truly ergonomic design.

In its quest for the purest expression of time, the design aims to reaffirm the beauty of simple essential and sensual shapes. The sapphire crystal and case seamlessly merge in a simple minimalistic and pure radius. The iconic pebble design of the TYPE 3 meets the sleek design of the TYPE 1 and featuring its ROCS 1 module. The result is a watch with a satisfying tactile quality that will gently blend with any wrist and style, becoming a daily companion.

“The new TYPE 1° Round is the latest iteration of our relentless research into essential, meaningful design.” said Benoît Mintiens, Founder of Ressence. “This new watch feels in tune with Ressence’s design philosophy. Better design is less design, function must prevail.”

Beyond its new colour, the TYPE 1° Round dial has been graphically simplified with indexes every 10 minutes and a weekday dial that subtly unites the 2 non-working days of the week with a touch of colour. The Second and Weekday hands are larger for an improved reading.

2023 March - RESSENCE TYPE8 Sage Green

The TYPE 8, the purest expression of design from Ressence, expands its colour palette with the launch of a Sage Green dial.

Benoît Mintiens, Founder of Ressence, said: “The TYPE 8 is the purest, most essential of all Ressence experiences. You cannot possibly subtract anything more from it. To maximise legibility, its dial has been reduced to its most viable minimum.”

Asked about his perspective on colour, Benoît Mintiens added: “Colour is a part of our universal human language that reaches beyond time and culture. Colour triggers our emotions and affects how we experience the world around us. Awakening senses is key to Ressence, and colour certainly plays a part in this endeavour.”

As with all Ressence watches, the dial of the Type 8 eschews traditional notions of centrally- mounted hands. Instead, the main dial, a domed piece of titanium, rotates to indicate the minutes. Set within it on the same plane, a smaller dial rotates to mark the hours. Thus the entire dial is ever- changing, but still presents an intuitive at-a-glance display, legible from any angle.

The TYPE 8 is the lightest of all Ressence watches. Strap included, the watch weighs just a mere 42 grams. Crafted from a feather-light grade five Titanium, the 42.9 mm sleek case fits so comfortably on the wrist, inducing a long-lasting love affair.

2023 March - URWERK UR102 Reloaded

The 102 collection launched at Baselworld 1997 has not aged a bit. After a few adjustments to blend in with the times, the UR-102 "reloaded" is now presented in a boxed set containing its two versions: one in titanium, the other in signature URWERK black.

"The UR-102 is more than just a symbol”, says Felix Baumgartner, master watchmaker and co-founder of URWERK. "It represents my entry into the AHCI (Académie Horlogère des Créateurs Indépendants). It embodies the first collaboration with Martin Frei, our first steps into the world of fine watchmaking, our first dreams of independence.”

It is now a respectable 41mm in diameter compared to the 38 mm of its original version. Its size may have changed, but it remains as visually pleasing as ever. Its crown now merges into the case, having made a strategic move to 4 o'clock. Its lugs are larger, recalling the attachments on the Sputnik space satellite: solid, angular and designed to ideally position the "machine" on the wrist. The font of the hours and minutes markers has been redesigned, with new information appearing on the dial. UR-102 "reloaded" thus embodies a smoothly nuanced revolution.

2023 March - LOUIS ERARD Excellence Marqueterie - limited edition of 99 pieces

Louis Erard continues to enliven métiers d’art with a contemporary perspective and an impossible challenge: to make the most exclusive craftsmanship accessible, this time with the extreme practice of miniature marquetry featured on the dial. Each dial is handmade, piece by piece, by an independent artisan, Bastien Chevalier, based in Sainte-Croix.

“Geometric design is the hardest thing to do. You have to be totally precise. The pattern won’t permit any error — the slightest deviation is visible.”

Once cut, the tiny pieces are meticulously sorted and deposited with the tip of a scalpel under a binocular microscope, then fixed on the first mount. The assembly is then glued on the appropriate side. The back is prepared so that it can be attached to the dial’s metal base, and then the outward face is delicately taken again to be sanded to the correct thickness: it’s almost imperceptible, a few hairs’ breadth. Each step is decisive; there’s no going back. Time passes. The first dial is complete... 98 to go.

2023 March - The Lavish Attic x Atelier de Chronométrie Limited Edition of 8 pieces AdC33

While The Lavish Attic focuses on independents, Atelier de Chronométrie is committed to handcrafting one-of-a-kind high-end timepieces with an annual production of 7–10 pieces. When the opportunity arises, both parties should embrace traditional and artisanal craftsmanship, respect cultural variances, and consider the potential of watchmaking. The project presents a challenge as the greatest level of Grand Feu enamel dial is applied and a new in-house calibre M284 is modified.

The AdC33 timepiece is going to be a very special one-off project created only for The Lavish Attic and for the very first time in Hong Kong. The design has been inspired in the Chinese traditional culture, where the porcelain and the blue color have an important sense as well as the ancient Chinese numerals used in a long past.”

-       Santiago Martínez, Founder of Atelier de Chronométrie

The combination of blue and white on ceramics could be traced back to 14 century Chinese pottery and a high demand was created among the countries. It played an important role in the international trade. The limited edition takes inspiration from the refined delicacy of the blue and white artworks and inherits the tranquility and elegance from the history. Finally the stamped lines will be made with fired enamel. We found a blue color that matches perfectly with the blue of the Chinese porcelain and also has more quality than the stamped typography.

The limited edition allows collectors to choose case material from typical stainless steel, 18K rose gold, 18K yellow gold and the rare 18K grey gold. Grey gold is a high palladium alloy; the colour is more greyish than the name suggests but less white than platinum. It is a very special colour and doesn't need to be rhodised. The watchmaker takes extra care to handle palladium. The challenging production process explains the higher cost as compared to white gold. For its quality and purity, we are proud to recommend grey gold to collectors.

2023 January - URWERK UR112 Aggregat Back to Black

The UR-112 Aggregat Back to Black comes in a steel and titanium body with a complex architecture. Let's start with its upper part. Its steel bonnet is grooved and openworked. It gives a glimpse of the richness of this gleaming speed machine. This cover opens vertically to give access to the secondary power-reserve and digital seconds indications. Its central titanium body is satin-brushed, sandblasted and beadblasted, thereby forming a field of functional microdots. The two blackened steel wings of the UR-112 Aggregat Back to Black fit into this central body. Each zone, each space, each element has its own texture, its own finish, its own language.

The UR-112 Aggregat Back to Black belongs to the Special Project line. This is a departure from the founding concept of URWERK's wandering-hour indication, on a whole new scale, with new volumes for the UR-122 Aggregat and its UR-13.01 caliber. Martin Frei, co-founder of URWERK said: "The inspiration for the 112 line came straight from the USA. Felix and I were lucky enough to discover the impressive car collection of Mr Ralph Lauren. Amongst the rarest models was the Bugatti Atlantic. WOW! It was love at first sight. Its perfect lines, its spine running along its body, its Art Déco features. This Bugatti is a true wonder!  It was the muse that inspired my first drawings of the UR-112.”

2022 October - URWERK UR120 Aka Spock

UR-120 furthers the codes of the UR-110 collection and reshapes its concept.

The latest celestial object in URWERK's constellation relies on splitting satellites. Inside calibre UR-20.01, the central carousel is fitted with three arms, each one bearing a satellite. All four sides of said satellite bears an hour marker. When it exits the minute track and reaches the left part of the case, it actuates a trigger that commands the changing of the satellite face. The latter then shows its true nature with an unprecedented kinematic sequence.

The satellite splits open, revealing two rectangular studs. They take on a V shape, thus recreating the Vulcan salute that ultimately gave the UR-120 its name. Once separated, both studs spin on their own axis and shut, all in order to display the new hour unit.

2022 August Geneva Watch Days - URWERK UR100V UltraViolet

Violet! This magnificent shade is located at the far end of the visible colour spectrum perceptible to the human eye. Violet is the ultimate hue.

Fitted with a rubber strap, the UR-100V UltraViolet picks up the codes of the 100 family. The satellite hours and minutes display is complemented by new information: rotational distance at the Equator in 20 minutes; orbital distance in 20 minutes. Felix Baumgartner, master watchmaker and co-founder of URWERK says: "This creation was inspired by a gift from my father, Geri Baumgartner, a renowned restorer of antique clocks. It is a clock made by Gustave Sandoz for the 1893 World Exhibition and its particularity lies in the fact that instead of showing the hours, it indicates the rotational distance travelled by the Earth at the Equator.”

Cased in Violet DLC on sanded shot-blasted titanium, it will indeed remind the URWERK faithful of the aesthetics characterising the first models from the independent brand: "We have taken certain aesthetic elements from our first constructions and destructured our approach. For example, the steel dome of our historic models is reproduced here through the transparency of sapphire crystal. Its perfection is highlighted by the roughness of the titanium and steel case. As someone who constantly questions the dictates of symmetry, I have played with proportions to challenge the eye”, sums up Martin Frei, chief designer and co-founder of URWERK.

2022 May - URWERK UR220RG

This UR-220 Red Gold is sparkling and flamboyant. Its case has been forged in 4N gold and teamed with an immaculate white textured strap. All in all, a resolutely 80s vibe.

For fans of the 1980s the references are crystal-clear: Sonny Crockett and Ricardo Tubbs in Miami Vice. The golden tans of these hero police officers with their immaculate suits and Colgate smiles. The personification of success. These images had a lasting impact on an entire generation and featured two predominant colours: sparkling gold and virginal white.

That of the UR-220 bears eloquent witness to the evolution in the line of the 200 modules. It bears one of the hallmarks of the URWERK watchmaking style, the Oil Change feature. URWERK returns to its first love and – after a protracted absence – reinstalls this indicator showing how long the watch has been operating. This unique information, which has long enriched models such as the UR-110, has undergone significant changes.

As no detail has been overlooked here, the typography of the hour-markers on the UR-220 has been completely redesigned by Martin Frei and the hours and minutes numerals feature an even sharper profile.

2022 March Watches and Wonders - TRILOBE Une Folle Journée

An invitation to reach new heights. Remaining faithful to its Maison’s offset artistic DNA, Une Folle Journée is a piece which echoes Trilobe’s first editions and puts our fundamental pillars into perspective. With its rotating and floating eccentric rings, this collection hits new heights by combining fine watchmaking traditions with a contemporary design.

Breaking away from the rules and diving into a singular creativity, Une Folle Journée is a surprising challenge for laymen and an ode to watchmaking extravagance. Yesterday, time was frozen under rotating hands. With the Trilobe watch, time starts moving. Three rotating rings rush forward, carrying with them the scales of time: the largest ring for hours, the median one for minutes, the smallest one for seconds.

The Watch hits new heights to forge a technical bond between its off-centre rings and its X-Centric3 (cubic) signature movement. The dial, open for the first time, enables to savour the watchmaking craftsmanship of a Swiss Made calibre, without losing sight of the rotating rings’ singularity. This is what makes the strength of Trilobe’s innovation: the rings are intrinsic to the movement, which alone makes it possible to free time. The three rings of the hours, minutes and seconds are tiered and fly at a 10.2mm height, a true watchmaking prowess. Projected in space and balanced by 9 pillars, Trilobe’s rings are each the result of a complex assembly.

2022 March Watches and Wonders - SINGER REIMAGINED Track 1 SKLT Edition

The Track1 – SKLT Edition SR008 is the first watch from Singer Reimagined with a skeleton dial, allowing the full beauty of its revolutionary movement to be unveiled. For the first time. Limited in 15 numbered pieces this very special watch made in 18k yellow gold highlighting the exquisite engineering of the Track1 collection and Singer’s mastery of precious materials.

The new-generation transparent dial, suspended over the movement, allowing a view of the components below. Shaped as a structural chassis, the open-work dial reveals the signature minutes wheel below, highlighted in a golden finish, to match the aesthetic of this special watch. Underneath the minutes wheel lies the automatic rotor for the first time.

The underlying idea that led to the invention of the AgenGraphe was to enhance the legibility of the chronograph – which is usually poor due to the indications being spread out across the dial combined with the use of small counters. The AgenGraphe brings together all the chronograph functions in the center of the watch, allowing for an easy and intuitive reading of elapsed time. Achieving this required radically new movement architecture in order to create space centrally for the chronograph mechanism. As a result, the timekeeping functions are built into the periphery.

2022 March Watches and Wonders - RESSENCE Type 8

Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. The Type 8 has a hyper-modern, sleek case whose deceptively simple, lean silhouette is the most minimal of all Ressence creations. Crafted entirely from grade five titanium, the 42.9 mm case contributes to an extremely light overall weight of 42 grams only. The case has no apparent lugs; instead the overall effect is of one integrated case volume, out of which the strap appears to grow invisibly.

Playful, colourful, and streamlined, the Ressence Type 8 is designed for ergonomic comfort and maximum legibility. It is powered by a traditional automatic movement, reinforcing Ressence's commitment to mechanical innovation. Graphically simplified to the essence, the watch indicates only the hours and minutes, and with no text or numbers, the domed cobalt blue dial has been reduced to the viable minimum. Simple white baton markers present the time with perfect clarity from any angle thanks to the revolutionary Ressence Orbital Convex System (ROCS) display, whereby the dial itself comprises rotating discs set into the same plane. The hands and the hour and minute scales are picked out in blue SuperLuminova for low-light legibility.

Like all Ressence watches, the Type 8 is set and wind by turning its case back. The watch's ambidextrous design, combined with its streamlined shape and light weight make for a comfortable experience on all wrists.

2022 March Watches and Wonders - RESERVOIR Kanister Silver

Inspired by the counter of the mythical 356 Speedster automobile, the new RESERVOIR Kanister Silver inaugurates a silver-colored dial and the new RESERVOIR RSV-240 horological caliber, offering a power reserve of 56 hours, combining a patented and optimized proprietary module of three complications (retrograde minute, jumping hour, power reserve) with a manufacture movement (LJP-G100 base): a tribute to the spirit of freedom and speed of the 1950s.

The RESERVOIR collections bear witness to unique watchmaking know-how by satisfying the strictest professional requirements. It is in Switzerland, in La Chaux-de-Fonds, that the TELOS master watchmakers develop the RSV-240 caliber, and in Neufchâtel where they are assembled. All their art is revealed in the precision of the measurements, the rigor of the controls and the attention paid to each stage of work, regardless of the mechanical complexity of the watch.

2022 March Watches and Wonders - URWERK UR100V Time and Culture Line

From the pyramids of the City of Ur to the gnomons from China and lunar calendars engraved in rock, they have incessantly deployed their genius, inventiveness and even pugnacity in testifying to the passing of days and hours. It is to this quasi-heroic work that URWERK pays tribute today with its new 100V Time and Culture line.

The new line of the 100V, dedicated to perceptions of time through the ages and cultures, has been named Time and Culture. The first stop in the 100V Time and Culture line takes us to the lands of Central America, around the year 1479. The pediment of this timepiece features the motifs of the "Sun Stone", one of the most emblematic works of Aztec art, now preserved in the National Anthropology Museum in Mexico City. This monolith is a sculpted disc approximately 3.6 metres in diameter. Imposing. Massive. This masterful work refers to the Aztec calendar, with the third circle representing the 20 days of the month, the fourth the 260 days of the year.

This pattern is therefore repeated on the copper-coloured dome of the UR-100V Time and Culture I. The result is exquisitely delicate. The milling cutter used for the engraving has a 0.05 mm-thin point. The work must therefore be admired with a magnifying glass to appreciate its precision. The ridge lines of the motif are satin-brushed, while the hollows are micro-sandblasted to obtain a velvety finish, in order to highlight the volumes and honour this priceless heritage.

2022 March - THE CITIZEN Eco-Drive models with Hand-dyed Indigo Washi Paper Dials

The CITIZEN models provide superior precision and high quality, symbolizing the company’s never-ending pursuit of the essence of the watch. Two new models will be released from this collection featuring hand-dyed indigo washi paper on the dial.

The dial features Tosa washi paper hand-dyed using traditional Japanese methods. Kamiita-cho in Tokushima Prefecture is famous for its Awa indigo dye, and the Tosa washi paper on the dial is hand-dyed by Watanabe’s in Tokushima - an indigo farm and dyehouse that carries out the entire hand-dyeing process including cultivating indigo plants, making the dye, dyeing the paper, and finishing the final product. The beautiful, deep blue indigo dial is dyed using all-natural materials.

The case is made of Super Titanium TM finished with CITIZEN’s proprietary surface hardening technology Duratect Platinum that provides a bright metallic hue.

2022 March - THE CITIZEN Limited Edition Caliber 0200 Mechanical Model

This new model is powered by a Caliber 0200 mechanical movement, developed entirely in-house by CITIZEN, and features design elements inspired by Japanese armor. Japanese armor protected warriors in battle, but their unique designs were also used to express the individuality of the wearer.

This model has a stainless steel case with a brushed finish featuring a beautiful black bezel made from zirconia ceramic, a material known for its durability and hardness. Electroforming was used to give the dial a hammer tone finish with indentations reminiscent of hammered metal. The band is made from Himeji Kurozan leather. Himeji Kurozan leather, also known as “black diamond leather,” is created using a method that fuses traditional tanning and lacquering techniques, giving cow leather a lustrous finish that brings to mind the glitter of countless diamond fragments. The process is carried out by hand, and involves repeatedly applying lacquer to the grain side and drying the leather to give it volume and a deep luster. The unique textures of the monochrome elements of this special model create an eye-catching contrast, providing an appealing look that is inspired by the functionality and decorative aspects of Japanese armor.

2022 Febraury - URWERK UR112 Aggregat Odyssée

Gleaming like Padme Amidala's J-type 327; equipped with two large round eye-like windows like Archie; the ‘owl ship’ from Watchmen. Streamlined like a Klingon Bird of Prey. Grooved like the hull of the Battlestar Galactica.

The UR-112 Aggregat Odyssey emerges from the URWERK shipyard in a limited edition, featuring an infinite number of flat, curved, grooved, sculpted, screwed and bonded surfaces, all incorporating advanced finishes alternating between matt and glossy, sandblasted and polished. This painstaking, meticulous work contributes to enhancing the two large cockpits where the rotating prisms representing the UR-112's unique signature operate, akin to two advanced observation posts.

The central body of the case contains the driving and regulating components of the UR-13.01 caliber: a large barrel providing 48 hours of power reserve, coupled with an automatic-winding rotor. Pressing the two pushers on the sides of the watch opens the cover to reveal the power-reserve indicator and the spectacular small seconds. The latter is composed of a skeletonized silicon disk attached to a red anodized aluminum bridge, a typical URWERK design feature.
